Random of the Day: Sho-Nuff shirt

shogun-550Who’s da Mastah?

Saw this on ShirtPunch, one of those 24-hour limited edition t-shirt sites today.

Barry Gordy’s The Last Dragon (1985) is one of those movies that has always lurked just below the consciousness … you know that it’s there, you have fond memories, but never get around to watching it again … which, admittedly, would be for about the 12th time.

The movie does feature iconic characters, the lasting of which is Sho-Nuff, the Shogun of Harlem … and, of course, who could forget Bruce Leroy? It has a pretty solid 80s soundtrack, including DeBarge’s ubiquitous “Rhythm of the Night”

Hmmm …

I think I’d better stop or I might just order me one. You should, too.

What other “minor” movie characters from the 80s deserve their own t-shirts?

Maybe the “I want my $2” kid from Better Off Dead
