I’m sure everyone who is alive and cares about this already knows, but there’s a free U2 song today only on iTunes. The song is “Invisible,” and its being used as a part of a Super Bowl commercial.
U2’s last full-length album was released five years ago. On Black Friday, they released a 7-inch vinyl version of “Ordinary Love,” which was used in the Nelson Mandela biopic, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
The band is set to release a new full-length album this year, possibly June. Head to the fan site atU2.com.
So, you know, I realize this is a busy day, it being the national religious holiday Super Bowl. But feel free to download the song during the halftime show. If not then, do it before midnight.
If you don’t want it for free, though, feel free to wait.
