Somewhere Gene Simmons is rolling over in his grave … except for two things:
- He’s not dead;
- He’s getting paid and his love of money is bigger than his disdain for someone like Stryper singing a Kiss song.
On a side note, Stryper singing Kiss is definitely something you would NOT have seen in the 1980s or 1990s. Christians around the world would have burned every copy of their Stryper LPs and cassettes and branded the band heretics.
Why the change? Two things:
- Most present-day Christian male adults were at one time Kiss fans;
- Most Christians already did that with Against the Law (which is, for the record, a pretty good album).
