Lookin’ all frilly

It’s not so much the frills that make me like this 1977 album cover so much, it’s the hint of belly above the jeans. That means it was the ever-popular, Pirate Blouse Half Shirt.

I’ve been digging around the Interwebs and finding old, old Mylon out there ever since this earlier post. He had quite a Southern rock pedigree … which kind of makes the fact that he turned away from it even more impressive.

Anyway, sure this is bad album art (as noted in one of my favorite blogs), but good for him for being able to wear it. It takes a special someone … of course, defining special is up to the viewer.

In the meantime, here’s a song I found with him and Alvin Lee in 1973. Enjoy.
