The answer is 27.
The question is “How many packs of Little Shop of Horror Trading Card packs does it take to make a complete set?”
Came across a closeout box of the Topps series from 1986, complete with old sticks (literally) of bubble gum, and it’s been kind of cool to open the packs and get the set together. What’s interesting about this set is that one side is the more traditional story trading cards, but on the back side are stickers. If you want to see the whole set, you can get it here.
So, what should I do with the other nine packs that came in the box. Sounds like a familiar problem.
I don’t know why I got the box, other than the fact that Little Shop of Horrors is probably my favorite musical (don’t tell Shelly). And it’s so odd … why would this musical rate trading cards?
If you haven’t seen the movie, you should It’s delightfully campy and full of cameo performances that make it fun.
