Christian music artists Dana Key died last night at the age of 56 from a blood clot rupture, according to reports.
If you are of a certain age and culture, his passing is a sad note.
I didn’t listen to too much DeGarmo & Key (although I did own the Boycott Hell album), but his influence, through the ForeFront and Ardent music labels, is pretty wide. And their influence through the mid- to late-80s, through the early 90s helped set up Christian music as a solid genre.
However, as sad as it is, you do have to smile at the white Miami Vice suits in the video … and maybe hum a little bit through the day.
