Thanks to ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption (possibly the best show on television), I was reminded that today is the anniversary of Lynn Swann’s remarkable catch in Super Bowl X (presented here in all its NFL Films narrated glory).

I still remember this, as fuzzy as it may be. I believe, geeky that I was, I attempted to draw it in an art class.

This, of course, was before quarterback Terry Bradshaw settled down and birthed Matthew McConaughey. Their story, of course, is chronicled in Failure to Launch (ugh).

Anyway, Happy Anniversary to one of the top five greatest catches in NFL history. What are your other four?
