Random Holiday Purchase I

Got this album (yes, ALBUM … 33 1/3 rpm) at a pretty slummy-cool used CD / DVD / LP store in Daytona Beach last week. It was released in 1987. Whew.

I think I picked up this tape (yes, TAPE … cassette) in a demo clearance bin at an old Family Christian Store. As a whole, the album is pretty good, though not great. However, tracks like “Jim Morrison’s Grave” (below) foreshadow Steve Taylor’s later excellent work with Chagall Guevera and on his later album Squint.

Plus, the cover art’s pretty cool, right?
