Never really followed Thor in the comics and now that he’s a larger-than-life movie … I’m still unsure.
How about you?

Hmm…. I may see this one in the theater. Not sure. It looks like a lot of fun, and I do enjoy the special effects. I will admit, I was concerned where Marvel would go with this movie, but billing the Norse Gods as an alien race that uses magic as science sounds better than billing them as the Norse Gods, if you know what I mean. Still, it could easily be complete and utter crap. It’s really hard to say. I thought Hellboy would suck, and it turned out that I liked it.
This is definitely wait for netflix instant for me. I never followed Thor but with the mess of superhero movies that have come out and are coming out there are only a few I want to see on the big screen.
This also suffers from sequelitis… by which I mean when a studio is already talking sequel before the release of a movie they are trying to make it sound much better than it is.
Also Thor doesn’t have a great track record in media outside of comics. http://tv.ign.com/articles/116/1165212p1.html
