Saw the “wow-that-was-exactly-how-I-thought-it-would-be” film Couple’s Retreat recently. You know, the one where Vince Vaughn plays Guitar Hero as a plot point. I wonder if playing Guitar Hero will become the next “all movies have one” scene, like singing in the car has been for the past decade.
Of course we have Wayne’s World to thank for that one.
Couple’s Retreat also had that hilarious Asian guy from the TV show Community. And The Hangover. He’s probably the next character actor to become the comic relief of any film he’s in. I wonder what Asians think of that.
Anyway, that’s the off-topic movie review for Couple’s Retreat.
That Asian guy is also the doctor in Knocked Up. He’s another Apatow-classic.
